ABA Open Series NE heads to the
1000 Islands in Clayton New York.
ATHENS, Ala. – The ABA Open Series NE will hold its next event of the season on July 21st 2018, on The St. Lawrence River Launching from French Creek in Clayton New York.
The competitors will launch from French Creek Marina, located at 250 Wahl St Clayton Ny 13624. Anglers may begin fishing at 5:30 a.m. or safe light. The weigh-in will begin at 2:30 p.m. Registration begins at 4 p.m. July 20th at the ABA stage at French Creek Marina.
To enter, anglers fishing the Boater Division pay $200 with co-anglers paying $100. First place is guaranteed a minimum $5,000 first place for boaters. To learn more about the payout visit www.abaopenseries.com/payout.php
Anglers fishing the Boater Division may weigh in up to five bass, each at least 12 inches long. Co-anglers may weigh in up to three bass.
In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, boater and co-angler competitors fishing ABA Open Series events throughout the season may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, MotorGuide, T-H Marine, and ABU Garcia. The best American Bass Open Series anglers from across the nation can advance to the no entry fee 2018 Ray Scott Championship to be held at Lake Eufaula in Eufaula, AL in April 2019.
